Boston UnCommon is a fun quilt that is made in a surprising way. We use pre-cut 2.5" strips, then cut them with the Half-Hexie Ruler, making them half-hexagons. Position these on a design wall and set two matching half hexies together and you create a hexagon 'look'. Sew together the columns and you've just made a hexagon quilt but there are no Y seams.
